B.S. University of Wisconsin - Madison
Dana is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. She recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. As autonomous cars are being released onto the roads, it is becoming evident that the cars are going to have to make ethical decisions. Dana is focusing on how ethics impact the design of autonomous vehicles and what strategy engineers and others can use to robustly think about all of the stakeholders, values and goals. They are focusing on a pedestrian crosswalk scenario to evaluate the design process.
